Join the NPB

In 2020 you don’t need a license because of the cooperation with the KNLTB.

In 2019 the license costs € 20 and is inclusive:

  • Access to the tournaments circuit and the NPB competition
  • Certified padel coaches, for optimal game insight
  • Dutch ranking system
  • Insurance

How do you get a license?

  1. Create a player profile on setteo.com, the social platform for racket sports.
  2. Go to the Setteo profile of the Nederlandse Padelbond.
  3. Choose the option ‘membership request’. Via mobile click on affiliate members and then apply for membership.
  4. Payment goes through paypal or creditcard. If that does not work, then transfer €20,- to NL95RABO0178992542 and send an email to bondsbureau@padelbond.nl
  5. You can find your license number on your personal Setteo profile under ‘my documents’.

Do you already have a Setteo profile and license number?

Transfer €20,- to the NPB on NL95RABO0178992542 and send an email to bondsbureau@padelbond.nl. Then it will be adjusted in Setteo. You can find your license number on your personal Setteo profile under ‘my documents’.

Every NPB licensee agrees with the rules of procedure. The player license applies per calendar year and is renewed automatically without notice.

Participation conditions

Every participant in a NPB tournaments needs a NPB license (player number). That player license costs €20,- per year. Apply for your player license and you will appear on the national ranking. Setteo updates the ranking automatically.


You can register via setteo.com for a tournament. The club itself determines the registration fee for the tournament. Participation in padel competitions is at your own risk.

About the Dutch Padel Federation (NPB)

The NPB is the padel representative in the Netherlands and member of the International Padel Federation (FIP). The FIP is member at GAISF. Padel is a unique racketsport with it’s own identity and culture. Our sport respects the hispanic origin & temper and usually padel players are friendly, social, full of passion and proudly playing padel.

The Padel Federation’s goal is promoting to play padel.
